The Wellness Hotels (wellnesshotels.ca) are a unique idea. Accessing health care can be stressful. As such, we have built hotels that allow you to access health care during the day, while you can have a stress-free experience at night with our accommodation and meal services.  

The Wellness Hotels have five main goals: rest, reflection, recuperation, rejuvenation, and recreation (the 5R’s). Medical services, and therapy services, are not provided at our affiliate hotels. We believe medical and therapy services should only be provided at medical clinics. However, we are affiliated with a number of medical and therapy programs including, but not limited to Land Based Therapies (landbasedtherapies.ca). Land Based Therapies has an out-patient treatment team that consists of general practitioners, registered nurses, psychiatric nurses, clinical psychologists, clinical social workers and clinical addiction workers – although they also have access to other medical and therapy services if required. Clients accessing all forms of health care in Saskatoon (mental health, cancer, cardiovascular, diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder, asthma, other chronic diseases, pre or post surgery, and so on) are welcome. Because our clients have chronic health issues, we mandate that our hotel clients do not use illegal drugs, alcohol or nicotine, and that illegal drugs, alcohol and nicotine are not allowed on our premises. Even if prescribed, we do not allow clients using methadone or opioids to be at our location (due to the safety risk to yourself and to other clients).

As part of our commitment to offer stress-free hotel and meal services while you are accessing medical and therapeutic care in Saskatoon, we also offer direct billing for hotel and meal services. Our main clients are the federal Government of Canada and the provincial Government of Saskatchewan. We can bill directly to federal insurance, provincial insurance, employee benefit plans (federal, provincial, municipal or private employer benefits plans), bill your employer directly, or bill you directly. If you are paying yourself, you can consider our external financing (credit) options.

We currently have two locations in Saskatoon (1. Highway 11 S. and Floral Road, 3.5 km south of Saskatoon, and 2. 133-1715 Idylwyld Dr N.). We are in the process of expanding our hotel and meal services to Regina (September 2025) and Prince Albert (October 2025). We hope to expand to North Battleford, Yorkton and Meadow Lake soon. Our Calgary, Alberta, location opens September 1, 2025.

If you choose to stay at The Wellness Hotels, overnight stays are $200 per night and three home cooked meals are $100 per day.
